Earlier, we posted a photo showing a disabled woman sleeping on the floor inside Eliza Shirley House.

Now we are posting the video.

This is not a misunderstanding. This is not an exaggeration. This is not a one-time complaint.

A mentally and physically disabled woman is sleeping on the floor because residents are reporting lice, bedbugs, unsafe sleeping conditions, and a lack of proper cleaning.

This is Eliza Shirley House.

A disabled individual is sleeping on the floor because the lice and bedbug conditions inside the shelter have gotten that bad.

Let that sink in. Philly Wake up!

A disabled person would rather sleep on the floor than stay in a bed inside a city-funded shelter because the infestation is so severe.

PPOH has already contacted . These complaints have already been raised. And yet the conditions are not improving — they are getting worse.
Where is the emergency response? Where is the inspection? Where is the accountability?
