Early this morning, Senate Republicans passed the Secure America Act, fully funding ICE and CBP through the end of President Trump’s term.

Reconciliation wasn’t our first choice. Democrats forced this path by blocking DHS funding during the appropriations process. For months, they played political games that put Americans at risk and undermined enforcement of our immigration laws.

We refused to let that happen.

Homeland security isn’t partisan. I’ll always fight to keep DHS fully funded and operational.
