Pilot + Projects is located at 1719 N 5th St, Philadelphia PA, 19122. Pilot + Projects is an artist-run exhibition space located in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, co-directed by Jacob C Hammes, Jennifer Nugent, and Zachary Rawe. Each month, Pilot delivers two to three person exhibitions of emerging and established artists. We have particular interest in developments in sculptural and

collaborative works that pull from humor and weirdness, antagonism, and engages critical theory. Our goal is to build exhibitions that present a variety of strategies in art-making and provide room for discourse that expands through and beyond the artistic gesture. Along with exhibitions, our programming will include performance, readings, and lectures that provide additional room to (re)consider the artistic gestures on view, and expand upon the notions they present. Once a month we host an opening reception, on a Saturday evening from 6:00pm - 11:00pm, and additional viewing by appointment.

Please join us for a very important project we are doing to help a dear friend at a critical time in need. Buy some art! The works in this auction are all donated generously by friends of Filipe, who is currently incarcerated and in need of support. All proceeds go towards his legal and healthcare needs, bidding period is from September 25 - October 8, with an in person viewing of the show on 10/8 7-10 for the closing of the auction (details forthcoming).
