Congratulations to Kylie Morris for winning her primary to serve as the Millcreek Township supervisor, on to November! Kylie is in the 2025 Emerge PA Class!

Morgan upset incumbent Republican Dan Ouellet. Morris defeated Dean Carlson for the Democratic nomination. Summit and LeBoeuf also had races.

Erica Deuso won the Democratic nomination to be Downingtown's mayor. If elected, she would be the first transgender person elected mayor in Pennsylvania.

Emerge PA women are leading the way to build the Democratic Majority in the PA State House! Shout out to Emerge Alums Anna Payne, Anna Thomas and Hadely Hass who are all recognized as potential house flips! There are 22 Emerge women running in PA this Nov, best of luck to all of them!!!

Democrats have one-seat majority in the Pennsylvania House. These races will determine whether they keep it or whether the chamber flips back to Republican control.

Emerge was created out of Kamala Harris' original run for District Attorney in 2001 and has grown to become a national movement with more than 6,000 alums and 1,200 women in elected office, including VP Harris–the original Emerge woman. In fact, the Vice President has recruited and mentored dozens of women to go through Emerge's programs, many of whom are successful elected officials today!

At the training, you'll hear from Moms Demand Founder and Emerge Board Member Shannon Watts and NJ Congressional candidate & Emerge Seated Together cohort member LaMonica McIver, as well as Emerge President A'shanti Gholar and other expert Emerge trainers.

It will take place on August 8 at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT.

The training will help you answer questions like, “Should I run for office?” and “What does it take to run a successful campaign?”You'll also learn how to connect your interests and passion to an elected position, what it takes to build a path to run & to build your base, and how to prepare yourself to be a candidate.

Her inner circle saw the need for a program to train women on how to run for office and win, and that is exactly what they created Emerge to do.
The Vice President is a champion of women’s leadership and a hype woman for rising women leaders. She has mentored countless women and recruited dozens of women for Emerge’s training program - from Democratic nominee in CA-12 Lateefah Simon to San Francisco Mayor London Breed.
We have been so successful we now have over 1,200 women in elected office around the country, and we have trained more than 6,000 through state and national programs over the last 20 years.
That's how Emerge women are leading the charge to make change from coast to coast.
