New Hope Philly is a Bible based men's ministry purposed to the raising up of men coming out of an addiction that have had their hearts turned towards God. Using the means of biblical counseling, godly living, and discipleship, we pray to "Build up and Send out." The Lord has provided a sanctuary in South West Philadelphia set apart for His redemptive work. Men will work, live, and eat side by side serving the Lord, church, and community.

Pastor Bill's sweet momma Liz is at rest with Jesus. Please pray for God's comfort for the family.

Elizabeth Ann Kelley Pruitt, age 86, of Cordova, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. She was born on January 5, 1940 in Somerville, Tennessee.

Elizabeth loved her family beyond measure and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She was known as the life of any party, always bringing laughter, warmth, and joy wherever she went. More than anything, Elizabeth loved Jesus Christ, and her faith was the foundation of her life. She had a special love for the ministries of New Hope Philly and America’s Keswick and faithfully prayed for the lives being changed through their work. Her love, strength, and unwavering faith were an example to all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Ron Pruitt and Bill Pruitt; her granddaughter, Paige Wells; her great-granddaughters, Violet Wells and Ruby Wells; her sisters, Linda Kelley Lazenby, Maxine Kelley Middlecoff, and Kelley “Dot” Walker; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel Pruitt; her sons, Gary “Bubba” Pruitt, Ricky Pruitt, and Michael Gene Pruitt, her mother, Louise Harvey Kelley; her father, Charlie Max Kelley; and her brothers, James Kelley, Bill Kelley, and Larry Kelley.

A celebration of life service will be held on April 12, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Bellevue Woods Apartments Clubhouse, 1818 Timber Glen Drive West, Cordova, Tennessee.

Elizabeth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her family rejoices in knowing she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.

We are praising God that we are only $25,000 away from finishing 2025 in the black! We entered into the month of December needing $148,000. Look at what God has done! Would you consider praying for God's provision and helping with a financial gift to the ministry of New Hope Philly? For the last 12 years you have partnered with us to see men set free from addiction and the gospel to be preached in South West Philadelphia. We are grateful for your prayers and support. It was so cool to see how people responded to a stranger dropping by to remind them of God's love through His provision of a Thanksgiving dinner for their family.
