Free Library General Information The General Information Department is the telephone and in-person information gateway for the FLP

The General Information Department (GID) is the telephone and in-person information gateway for the Free Library of Philadelphia, providing reference service and directional assistance at the Parkway Central Library and telephone/email assistance across the FLP system. GID has three service points: the lobby desk; PC RES (located on the second floor at the top of the grand staircase and servicing the 20 computers in the side hallway); and via phone at 215-686-5322.
