Xiente (formerly Norris Square Community Alliance) is a community development corporation founded in 1983 by a group of community resident who desired to take control of their neighborhood and provide a healthy and safe environment for their children.

Economic mobility in action 💛

We’re proud to see our work featured in the The Philadelphia Inquirer, highlighting how Xiente’s Mi Casa initiative and Prosperity Project are helping families build stability and create pathways to opportunity.

Through our Economic Mobility Concierge model, families receive personalized, one-on-one support — from financial coaching and education to childcare and workforce development — so they don’t have to navigate challenges alone.

Women Advancing Economic Mobility 💛

This Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting incredible women making a real difference in our community — and today we’re featuring Jamika Rodriguez, one of our Economic Mobility Concierges at Xiente.

Jamika works closely with families to help them navigate financial challenges, build stability, and create a path toward long-term success. Through personalized coaching and support, she’s helping families move from surviving to thriving.
