Boys and Girls ages 8-13 years old can join us for a multi sport summer camp program to improve athletic skills, boost confidence, foster teamwork, and have FUN!

The 4th Annual Lonnie Cohen Memorial Golf Outing is teeing off on Friday, June 19th 2026, and you won’t want to miss it!

Lonnie Cohen was the beloved supervisor of Hillside Recreation Center and dedicated employee of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation until his passing in July of 2021.

In his memory, The Lonnie Cohen Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to provide college scholarships for eligible PPR soccer players and MUCH needed equipment to eligible PPR soccer clubs.

The Annual Lonnie Cohen Memorial Golf Outing is the biggest fundraiser of the year!

⭐ HILLSIDE HIGHLIGHT ⭐

"America250PA accepted design submissions from Pennsylvania artists for the ‘Bells Across PA’ art series to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the United States in 2026.

These fiberglass bells were adorned and magically transformed by local artists and sponsored by businesses or individuals. There is at least one in every Pennsylvania County!"

Hillside's very own Megan Truitt , parent of beloved Billie in our ASP, designed one of these special bells for Philadelphia County!

The bell "19128: A Place With Roots" is officially displayed in Pocket Park (6170 Ridge Ave). Look for Hillside and other local hot spots on this wonderful tribute to Roxborough, Manayunk, and Philadelphia!
