Are you a single parent, living in Philadelphia? Here is a grant for you.
Eligibility Criteria:
Single-Parent Household: The applicant must be a single parent, which will be verified through a recent tax return and public assistance documents.
Low-Income Status: Your family's low-income status must be confirmed with documents showing participation in public assistance programs.
Philadelphia Residency: You must live in Philadelphia and provide proof of residency.
Grant Usage:
For Children:
The grant can be used for activities like summer camp, after-school, tutoring, swim lessons, dance classes, martial arts, art classes, or mental health support.
It will not be provided for household expenses or for child care, tuition, or similar.
For Parents: Single parents can also use a grant for their wellness or career advancement. However, there is a separate $1,000 limit for the parent.
