BIG NEWS FOR MIDDLETOWN! 🎉

Middletown Township is thrilled to announce that Isaac E. Kessler, P.E. has accepted the position of Assistant Township Manager/Township Engineer!

Isaac is certainly no stranger to Middletown. Through his previous role serving as the Township’s engineer, he has worked closely with Township staff and leadership on numerous projects and initiatives throughout our community.

Now, we are excited to officially welcome Isaac as a member of the Middletown Township staff!

Isaac brings extensive knowledge and experience to his new position, along with an invaluable familiarity with Middletown and the community we serve. We are confident he will be a tremendous asset to our organization and look forward to all he will bring to this new role.

🐦 Exciting News: Middletown Township is officially a Bird Town! 🌿

Middletown Township is proud to join several of our neighboring Bucks County communities as a designated Bird Town Pennsylvania!

But what does being a Bird Town mean? The program brings municipalities and residents together to support birds, wildlife and healthy habitats through conservation, education and community involvement.

This designation reflects Middletown Township’s continued commitment to protecting our natural environment and creating a healthier, more sustainable community for both people and wildlife.

We’re excited to spread our wings as a Bird Town and share more opportunities for residents to get involved!

📢 Board of Supervisors Meeting – Monday, September 14

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors will hold its monthly public meeting tomorrow, Monday, September 14 at 7:00 PM at the Middletown Township Municipal Center, 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne.

Residents are encouraged to attend and provide public comment. The meeting will also be streamed live on YouTube.

🦟 Mosquito Treatment Scheduled for Middletown Township

The Bucks County Department of Health (BCDH) will conduct an adult mosquito control treatment in portions of Middletown Township on Monday, September 14, beginning at approximately 7:30 p.m.

📍 Treatment areas include the neighborhoods of:

Laurel Oaks
Highland Gate
C***r Knoll

Treatment is expected to continue until approximately 10:30 p.m. The rain date is Tuesday, September 15.

The treatment is being conducted due to the presence of West Nile Virus detected in mosquitoes within these areas, along with high numbers of Culex mosquitoes, a species known to transmit West Nile Virus.

Treatment will be conducted by the Bucks County Department of Health using truck-mounted equipment to reduce adult mosquito populations.

Residents can help reduce mosquito activity by eliminating standing water around their homes. Using insect repellent and wearing long sleeves and pants, especially during dawn and dusk, can also help prevent mosquito bites.

Middletown Township offices will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. The Municipal Center will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8.
