Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor all military personnel who died serving in the U.S. armed forces. Today, take a moment to think of the fallen service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our rights and freedoms as Americans.

Tough lose yesterday...but a very awesome game. Army played hard, no matter what I'm still very proud of these cadets. I would recommend if you get a chance to see this game live...you won’t disappointed.

Thinking back a long time ago I was in Alaska 6th ID, 6th Engineer Bn. On the 60 range, laying down with my AG next to me, I'm ready to unload hell, when the range cadre says don't shoot at the first pop up target, platoon sgt says, don't shoot at the first target, my AG said don't shoot at the first target...what the F do I do...yep shot at the first target when it popped up. They were on my ass like white on rice. And I thought, I'm done, I'm never going to get promoted and so on. I bring this up because we all have done or gone through a time when you think I just F up so bad, and the easy route is to run away or quit. But just remember we only lean from our mistakes, these are the building blocks to success in life. Long story for a simple message but for those young men and women going into the service it's never the smartest or strongest that get a head in life. It's those that can bring it all together learn and build from that.
