It's only been a week of Summer Reading so far but we're already having a blast! Last week we helped kick off the World Cup by making flag magnets (among them - USA, Canada, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Panama, Dubai, Austria, and this really cool Lebanon one). Thanks to all the kid artists who helped make it happen.

We have more crafts this week and also our final Science of Soccer program this Wednesday at 3PM.

We are officially live here in our Summer Reading season🎉🎉! This year's theme is The Ultimate Quest.

Children of all ages can earn prizes for reading, attending programs at the library, doing crafts, and so much more. They'll earn small weekly prizes and can complete a gameboard to win a larger prize.

Be sure to stop by the branch soon and sign up today! Here are some upcoming looks at the fun we'll have all summer long.

And one more reminder that our Mindful Mediation with Pride program is this Tuesday, 6/9 at 4 PM. Summer can often be a hectic time so if you find you want to practice a bit more meditation, be more present, or just calm your thoughts and emotions, this is an excellent opportunity! Please don't miss it!

Don't forget! It's our favorite time of year - The Free Library's Summer Reading program kicks off this upcoming Monday, 6/8 and runs through August 14th. This year's theme is The Ultimate Quest. We'll have game boards and stickers for kids when they sign up and to track their reading all summer long. Come out and earn prizes, do crafts, and have a great time all summer long!

May is quickly coming to a close but we're already busy planning a LOT of fun this June!

Next Wednesday, 6/3, join us at 3:30 PM as we'll have our next program in the LEAP series Science of Soccer. We'll have two additional programs in that series on Wednesdays 6/10 and 6/17. It's going to be in a World Cup level of fun and learning.

Also next month kicks off our favorite activity: Summer of Wonder's "The Ultimate Quest" aka Summer Reading. Be sure to sign up early to maximize your reading and be sure to check out fun crafts and activities we'll be hosting all summer long (calendars for activities will be posted next week).

Finally, June also means Pride Month. So be sure to come out for two exciting Pride events we're happy to have: Mindful Meditation with Pride (6/9 at 4PM) and Drag King Storytime (6/20 11AM).

Reminder we have our Meet The Women of the 18th Century program today at 4 PM. Come learn about colonial times. And then tomorrow at 3:30 PM we'll be having our KidRave Dance Party.

Both programs are going to be a lot of fun!
