May is quickly coming to a close but we're already busy planning a LOT of fun this June!

Next Wednesday, 6/3, join us at 3:30 PM as we'll have our next program in the LEAP series Science of Soccer. We'll have two additional programs in that series on Wednesdays 6/10 and 6/17. It's going to be in a World Cup level of fun and learning.

Also next month kicks off our favorite activity: Summer of Wonder's "The Ultimate Quest" aka Summer Reading. Be sure to sign up early to maximize your reading and be sure to check out fun crafts and activities we'll be hosting all summer long (calendars for activities will be posted next week).

Finally, June also means Pride Month. So be sure to come out for two exciting Pride events we're happy to have: Mindful Meditation with Pride (6/9 at 4PM) and Drag King Storytime (6/20 11AM).

Storytime is back this summer 🏛️☀️Join us every 2nd and 4th Thursdays May through August at 10am for a playful morning of stories, songs, and fun designed especially for children ages 1–5. No registration is needed, just drop in and join the fun!

Reminder we have our Meet The Women of the 18th Century program today at 4 PM. Come learn about colonial times. And then tomorrow at 3:30 PM we'll be having our KidRave Dance Party.

Both programs are going to be a lot of fun!

May is underway and we're just starting our fun (with our eyes already on the rapidly approaching Summer Reading program kicking off in just over a month).

Next week though, please make sure you catch two of the programs we're very excited for. We'll have presenters talking about life in colonial times on Tuesday 5/12 at 4 PM. And then Wednesday 5/13 at 3:30 PM, we'll have our KidRave dance party with a live DJ to celebrate the (almost) end of the school year.

MAY the fun times at Welsh Road keep on continuing all this month. We'll be continuing our LEAP after school activities and homework help all month long. Please be sure to stop by M-F 3:00-5:00 PM to join us.

Please join us at the branch this upcoming Tuesday at 4 PM as we host our friends from the Science History Institute. They'll be bringing select items of their hands-on "Materials History" collection. This special opportunity will allow individuals to learn about the history of materials, up to and including a space glove, that folks will be able to touch and feel for themselves.

Reminder: No Little Ones' Storytime this upcoming Monday (4/20). We'll be back to our regular schedule again the following Monday (4/27) at noon.

Do come out, however, this upcoming Thursday for our Intro to RPGs (fantastic for Teens and Adults!!). It'll be a great adventure and we want you to be a part of it!
