The 64th Democratic Ward & its Friends were Honored & Humbled to Volunteer last Friday for those in need from our Communities, with Caring for Friends and the coordinated efforts and lead of Councilmember Bobby Henon, his Staff, and Mike Doyle.

… the much anticipated, and required New K-8 (Kindergarten through Eight Grade) Elementary School.

With the persistent advocacy of Councilmember Bobby Henon, his Staff (especially Courtney Voss and Stan Cywinski), the Developer (Gilbane Building Company), their Attorney (Matt McClure), and the School District of Philadelphia, we will be getting:

• a new K-8 school
• a refurbished American Football field
• a refurbished multi-purpose sport field
• two (2) new multi-purpose sports fields
• investments in Fencing, about the Campus
• investments in Security & Cameras, about the Campus
• investments in Lighting, about the Campus
• a new Dog Run (after Austin Meehan MS is demolished)

This is 'cause for applause', everyone pushed and persevered to get this project over the Finish Line.
