🧠 Mental health care shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be accessible to everyone. But in Philadelphia, 32.7% of people who need mental health care can’t afford it. That’s thousands of our neighbors stuck without support. 💔

The Healing Access Fund is here to change that. We’re removing cost barriers so underserved Philadelphians can get the mental health care they deserve, no matter their financial situation.

✨ Together, we can make mental health care accessible to everyone in our city.

Healing does not end when funding runs out. This , Project S.A.V.E is launching the Healing Access Fund to help survivors continue accessing trauma-informed therapy and mental health support during critical stages of healing and recovery.

Too often, survivors face interrupted care after benefits, insurance coverage, or financial resources are exhausted. We believe no survivor should have to stop healing because they cannot afford continued support.

Our goal is to raise $1,500 by May 31st to help keep therapy and healing services within reach for survivors in our community.
Every donation makes a difference. đź’š

We didn’t start where we are today, and this is a look back at how it all began.

From our first giveback event, early community trainings, wellness spaces, and first partnerships, Project S.A.V.E was built one intentional step at a time.

Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing more flashbacks, not just to reflect on where we’ve been, but to ground ourselves in where we’re going. Because every moment of growth has been powered by community, and that’s still what carries us forward.

How ironic that we’re using “Rise Up” by Andra Day, the same song featured in our first commercial, a reminder of where we began and the message that has carried us through ever since: resilience, hope, and continuing to rise through every season of our work.

If this journey resonates with you, there are ways to support our work today through individual giving, workplace giving, or donor-advised funds. Every gift helps us expand access to trauma-informed care for survivors of violence. 🤍

May is 🧠💚

Mental health affects all of us, but access to care is still limited across communities.
📊 About 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year
📊 Roughly half of adults with mental illness receive treatment in a given year
📊 Serious mental illness affects about 1 in 20 adults annually

At Project S.A.V.E, we recognize that mental health is deeply connected to trauma, safety, and access to support. We are committed to providing trauma-informed, survivor-centered care that meets people where they are.

Healing is not linear, and no one should have to navigate it alone. đź’š

These statistics tell a story, but not the full one.

Sourced from national reports like the Department of Justice, they reflect both what we know, and what is still unspoken. Because for every number you see, there are countless stories that were never reported.

As we close , we remain committed to breaking that silence, supporting survivors, and building a community where healing is possible.

If you feel called to support survivors and do your part, don’t just share this information, speak up when something isn’t right.
Show up. Say something. Be part of the change.

Today we wear denim in solidarity. đź‘–đź’™
Denim Day is a reminder that no one should ever experience blame or shame for violence done to them. It began as a response to a legal case where victim-blaming was reinforced, and has since become a global movement to stand with survivors of sexual violence.

At Project S.A.V.E, we stand firmly with survivors, centered in belief, support, and trauma-informed care that honors every person’s story without question or judgment.

Healing begins when survivors are believed. 🤍
