We’re excited to bring CraftNOW Art Camp to Tarken this summer!

In partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, this weeklong art camp gives participants the opportunity to explore creativity through hands-on projects, learn from teaching artists, and take part in off-site art experiences.

Time: 9 AM – 3 PM
Ages: 6–12
Location: Tarken Playground & Ice Rink
Cost: Free

Call for art to celebrate 250 years!

Call For Art: Philadelphia Stories 250: “Out of Many, One” A Photographic Journey

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, and are inviting local photographers to be part of a special exhibition inside historic City Hall.

Deadline: May 4, 2026
Exhibition Location: City Hall ( 1st & 4th Floor display cases near Council Chambers)

This exhibition explores Philadelphia’s rich cultural diversity through photography, highlighting the people, neighborhoods, histories, and everyday life that shape our city.

From family stories to iconic streetscapes, from food and traditions to architecture and community life, we want to see what makes Philly home through your lens.

• Open to all photographic work
• Final pieces should be framed at 16” x 20”
• Be sure to include where your photo was taken (neighborhood/district)

Show Philly through your eyes!

All pieces will be selected by a panel of esteemed jurors, including local photographers and arts leaders.
