Philadelphia Marine Officer

Philadelphia Marine Officer Few can be Marines. Even fewer can lead them. This program is not NROTC. PLC incorporates ground, aviation and law candidates.

Platoon Leader's Class (PLC): An opportunity for college undergrads to hone their leadership skills and see if they have what it takes to lead in America's finest military force. PLC takes place solely during the summer; you incur no contractual obligation to the Marine Corps unless you choose to accept a commission after graduation. For freshman and sophomores the program consists of two six-week

training sessions at Officer Candidates School (OCS), aboard MCB Quantico, VA. For juniors it is one 10 week training session at OCS. Officer Candidates Course (OCC): A program designed for college seniors and graduates to see if they have what it takes to lead in America's finest military force. OCC takes place of 10 weeks and is designed to screen and evaluate officer candidates to determine if they have what it takes to be an Officer of Marines. OCC incorporates ground, aviation, law and reserve candidates.
