Boy Scout Troop 358 at Grace Baptist Church of Germantown Troop 358 will be celebrating 60 years in Scouting on February 2, 2013!

On February 2, 2013, Boy Scout Troop 358 will celebrate its 60th Anniversary
Awards Banquet at 6pm at the Blair Mill Inn located at 3855 Blair Mill Road in
Horsham, PA. Founded by Mr William Green, the first Scout Master was Mr Earl Grayson
who lead the troop for 36 years. Twenty two Eagle scouts later in
1998, the Senate's Congressional Record paid tribute to Troop 358 for yielding
11 additi

onal Eagle scouts in one year! Today in 2012, the troop is proud of its
impending historic 60th Aniversary Awards Banquet as the oldest African
American Troop in the nation having produced a total of 61 Eagle scouts!

For those that may have seen the troop listed as participating in the 2017 Inaugural Parade, Boy Scout Troop 358 will not be participating in this parade. We do apologize for this confusion, the Troop was approached but politely declined.

January 21st 2013 will forever be memorable for so many reasons. It was a day where Troop 358 represented themselves as young men in service on MLK day keeping Dr King's dream and memory alive in Washington as President Obama was sworn in for his second term as President of the United States! This day will live in our hearts and minds forever. Pride, unity, and brotherhood forever!

Our troop is on their way to Washington with red jackets on and hearts filled with pride! The bus left shortly after 4am full of eager scouts and excited leaders. Ready for a unique full day of service on MLK day. Ready to salute our President! WATCH US in the parade - Division 2 - BOY SCOUT TROOP 358 of Grace Baptist Church of Germantown!
