🌟 An Important Update from the Mississippi Department of Education.

Mississippi recently raised the bar for academic achievement by adopting higher accountability standards for the 2025-2026 school year. As schools across the state continue to improve, the expectations used to evaluate school and district performance are increasing as well.

While the state's accountability model is changing, our commitment to excellence at Philadelphia Public School District remains the same. We will continue to challenge, support, and inspire every student as we prepare them for success in college, careers, military service, and life.

We welcome high expectations because we believe in our students, our staff, and our community. We remain focused on helping every student grow, achieve, and reach their full potential.
