📚🧺 READ 120 BOOKNIC KICKS OFF AT PES! 🧺📚

Philadelphia Elementary School officially kicked off Read 120 today with a Booknic! 🌪️❤️

Students grabbed their favorite books and blankets, found a cozy spot, and spent 20 minutes of their day reading. 📖

Those 20 minutes add up! Read 120 is all about encouraging our students to make reading a habit while building stronger, more confident readers.

🧺 Blankets out. 📚 Books open. ❤️ Readers growing!

💼🌪️ PES DRESSED TO IMPRESS! 🌪️💼

Philadelphia Elementary students showed up looking career-ready for Career Spirit Day! From future doctors and teachers to business leaders, first responders, and more, our students dressed for the careers they dream of having one day!

🏙️✖️ BUILDING AN ARRAY CITY! ✖️🏙️

PES third graders are bringing multiplication to life! Students created their own buildings using arrays, then put them together to build an amazing Array City! 🏢🏠🌆

This hands-on math lesson helped students visualize multiplication, recognize patterns, and see how rows and columns can be used to solve multiplication problems.

Way to BUILD those math skills, third grade! 🧠➕✖️📚

📚 PES 3rd graders have been working hard on character analysis all week, and they had a blast putting their learning into action Friday!!

🎨 They created posters featuring their favorite characters, showing off their creativity, comprehension, and growing understanding of character traits.
Our 3rd graders ON THE MOVE and RISING TO THE TOP!!!

Way to go, 3rd grade!! We are so proud of you!!❤️🌪️

🌪️❤️ SPREADING THAT TORNADO SPIRIT! 🖤🌪️

PHS Football, Cheer, and Band made a special visit to New Beginnings Adult Day Care today for a pep rally! 📣🏈🎶

Our Tornadoes brought the energy, music, cheers, and plenty of Philly spirit as we got fired up for tonight’s game against Northeast Lauderdale!

Thank you to everyone at New Beginnings for welcoming our students and helping us kick off GAME DAY the Philly way!

📚🧺 PHS TEACHERS JOIN THE BOOKNIC! 🌪️❤️

Our students weren’t the only ones enjoying Booknic today! PHS teachers joined in on the fun, taking time to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate our Read 120 initiative. 📖☀️

A special thank you to Dr. Drake and the PHS leadership team for providing our teachers with a picnic lunch to enjoy on the front lawn! 🥪🧺

When our teachers model a love for reading, our students see that reading is for everyone! ❤️📚
