Exciting news for Old City: Philly bar legend Fergus “Fergie” Carey is taking over the former Mac’s Tavern at 226 Market Street.

This opening adds to the momentum along Market Street as the Old City Market Street Improvement Project nears completion this spring, just in time for 2026 celebrations.
