Great advice from the Philadelphia Fire Dept.

Halloween is almost here, the Philadelphia Fire Dept. wants to ensure all have a safe and fun time. Most importantly, all children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an a parent or responsible adult. Instruct your children to travel only in familier, well lit areas an avoid trick or treating alone. Tell your children to never eat any treats until they return home. Teach your children to never enter a strangers home. Agree on a specific time for your children to return. Look both ways before crossing the street an use established crosswalks whenever possible. Do not cross yards and lawns where unseen objects or uneven ground can present tripping hazards.
Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween
