Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at a Urgent Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in urgent care, with a passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population. This position requires excellent diagnostic and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients of all ages presenting with a variety of urgent medical conditions
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, such as:
Respiratory infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia)
Urinary tract infections
Skin infections and lacerations
Musculoskeletal injuries (e.g., sprains, strains)
Minor fractures
Perform minor procedures, including suturing, wound care, and splinting
Interpret and manage electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
