Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission COMMENT POLICY

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) sponsors a number of official social media sites.

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission is dedicated to uniting the region's elected officials, planning professionals, and the public with a common vision of making a great region even greater. Comments posted to social media sites maintained by DVRPC will be monitored and inappropriate content will be removed. DVRPC will remove any prohibited content, including those items that are: (1)

not related to DVRPC; (2) profane language or content; (3) content that defames or threatens to defame a person or group of persons; (4) sexual content or links to sexual content; (5) solicitations of commerce; (6) conduct or encouragement of illegal activity; (7) information that may compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems; or, (8) content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party. DVRPC, however, disclaims any and all responsibility and liability for any materials that are prohibited under these guidelines, which cannot be removed in an expeditious and otherwise timely manner. DVRPC welcomes your comments and we encourage you to get involved. In Philadelphia, the Frankford Avenue Corridor Safety Improvements Project (MPMS # 115434) will implement safety and operational upgrades along the corridor, including curb extensions, updated markings and signage, modernized traffic signals, improved pedestrian features, ADA ramps, drainage work, trackless trolley modifications, communication/fiber installations, and other improvements.

PA TIP project MPMS # 82069 will improve safety for all roadway users, including motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders on PA 291 from Irving Street to Ridley Creek. This will include reconstructing the roadway into a more appropriate facility for Chester City and building a multi-use sidepath that will be designated as part of the East Coast Greenway.
