The Taste of Fairmount is back on Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 6–9 PM at Founder’s Hall, Girard College!

This year’s event will showcase the community’s best restaurants, chefs, and culinary experiences. Guests will enjoy sample dishes and beverages from top neighborhood spots, and get the chance to vote on their favorites!

Proceeds benefit our Small Business Fund - distributing grants to help neighborhood businesses overcome challenges, plan community-building events, and grow.

Limited early bird tickets are on sale now through September 15—or until they sell out. There's also a new $500 ticket that includes a reserved high-top table for a group of four! Shoutout to two local athletes competing in Sunday’s Philadelphia Cycling Classic. Brewerytown neighbor Kim Stoveld and Fairmount neighbor Hannah Yeakey are both riding in the world-class women’s race at 8:30am. Kim is racing with automatic_racing and will be wearing orange. Hannah is racing with Queens Rule Together (QRT) and will be in red.

Lemon Hill is the place to be on Sunday to see riders as much as possible and cheer extra loud for these local legends!

🚲 Our summer of special events isn’t over yet, and there are a ton of local connections for the Philadelphia Cycling Classic this weekend.

🚴🏾 Start with our Bike Race Guide for race-day details and our roundup of $14 bites and finds from local businesses, inspired by the race’s 14-mile course.

🚴🏾‍♀️ Plus, Park to Broad District is the best spot to enjoy the race! Racers will loop past the watch party at Lemon Hill (where Parks on Tap has a b**r garden setup as well) and the Fan Festival on the Parkway.

The Park to Broad team is thrilled to welcome Bela Harris to our organization!

Bela is an AmeriCorps VISTA and PHENND Fellows VISTAs Fellow serving as the Community Business Liaison at Park to Broad. His work supports Park to Broad’s efforts to reduce vacancy in the Brewerytown business district.

Bela is passionate about civics and neighborhood development. In his hometown, Syracuse, NY, Bela worked to support affordable housing and community development initiatives as a Grants administrator. More recently, Bela attended The Ohio State University, where he earned a Masters degree in City and Regional Planning. Bela is a passionate home cook, geography enthusiast, and is excited to explore Philadelphia’s restaurant scene.
