One issue that isn't explicitly on our platform but that is extremely important for us is support for Greek life. Now more than ever students seek out Greek organizations for support during their most challenging times. And now more than ever there's raised awareness that Greek groups - like all student groups- could benefit from exposure to anti-violence and anti-bias education, especially in light of the Oz incident. Michelle sits on the Provost's Task Force on a Safe and Responsible Campus Community. Her role there - which has been emphasized at UA GBMs on the record multiple times throughout the year - is to ensure that Greek life, registered and unregistered, is protected but safe. It’s more important that students have communities of support than that those communities are university recognized. We would never be opposed to the existence of groups that make Penn students' experiences better.
