The need for critical home repairs is significant. As the older adult population in the U.S. continues to grow, more than 19 million adults age 65 and older are living in homes that are in disrepair or ill-equipped to safely meet their needs.

Here in Philadelphia, we're working alongside homeowners age 62+ to help close that gap—making critical repairs that allow seniors to remain safe, healthy, and independent in the homes they love.

"I have no idea how I would be able to afford maintaince or repairs without Habitat. It’s really taken a big weight off my shoulders that I don’t have to worry about these things getting done."

Whether it’s repairing damage, improving accessibility, or making a home healthier to live in, critical home repairs help Philadelphians like Keith to remain in their homes and neighborhood.

"I put my name in, filled out the application, and when Habitat called, I was like 'It’s here! It’s finally here! Yes!' They came out, went through a few phases, and the shed I have now... wow." - Darlene, Home Repair Family 🏡💙

As our fiscal year comes to a close, every gift helps us build and repair more homes alongside Philadelphians like Darlene — creating safer, healthier places to live and stronger futures ahead.

Make your gift before Tues. June 30 to help open more doors of opportunity for our neighbors and communities.
