We're honored to share that Betsy Ross's original sewing table, passed down through generations of her family, will be donated to the Betsy Ross House by her great-great-great-great grandson, Eric Conrad. The table, believed to date to before 1776, will be unveiled on Flag Day, June 14, at 11:30 am as part of our Flag Fest celebrations.

In honor of the U.S. Semiquincentennial, the Betsy Ross House is partnering with California-based artist Damon Belanger for “Stars & Stripes: 250 Years, 250 Drawings,” a new exhibit featuring 250 original works inspired by the American flag in all kinds of unexpected contexts.

Explore the exhibit inside our brand-new Flagmakers’ Hall exhibition space, view historic flags from the Betsy Ross House collection, and enjoy light bites and refreshments during a special reception with the artist himself.

We’re kicking things off with First Friday at Flagmakers’ Hall with the opening of artist Damon Belanger’s exhibit, Stars & Stripes: 250 Years, 250 Drawings, on June 5 from 5–8PM
