HAPPY JUNETEENTH

I believe that getting into a situation with a firearm involving observing and recording law enforcement officers / protesting (especially when law enforcement is involved) is a bad idea, ONLY because some of these law enforcement officers who are cosplaying as N**i Storm Troopers are CONTINUOUSLY AND ACTIVELY fishing for an excuse to shoot someone. So when it comes to Alex Pretti, I don't think him simply having a firearm was a justified reason for him to be shot like that. However it makes it easier for them to attempt to get a justification. Anyone who is blindly justifying this without proper investigation is proving my point.

Was Alex there with the intention of protesting I.C.E? I don't know.

Was Alex reaching for his weapon? I don't know.

Was Alex's firearm misfired and the officers responded like that? I don't know.

All I know is that he had a firearm, It was taken by a federal agent who in my opinion should have immediately unloaded it, and there wasn't a second firearm he had so it seems like he was armed then disarmed and if he was there in passing it would make sense that he had it on him, but knowing that, officers have certain immunities and they can interpret the situation very easily based on their immunities and their "best" judgment. So if he went there to protest or record I personally wouldn't suggest going to a situation like that with a weapon ESPECIALLY a firearm.

I AM BY NO MEANS suggesting that what Alex Pretti was doing was illegal or justified what happened to him. Based on what I saw. I believe the situation should be thoroughly investigated, and those who are against just the possibility of an investigation have lost their minds and/or doesn't understand how the justice system is supposed to work.

You are under the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in the court of law. If you are immediately against an investigation and claim that federal officers can't be charged under the stipulation of immunity, What is the harm in challenging the immunity In the courts of Justice, especially if it could further prove their innocence?

If you're claiming that the courts of Justice could determine that the person is guilty despite the immunity they have; then Shouldn't justice be served? Are you claiming the immunity of federal officers can't be questioned in the courts?

We're not talking about Bribery or a scandal requiring deep investigation, we're talking about A group of federal agents shooting a man who's on the ground to death, and consideration of looking into that situation is making people upset. And the excuse is he had a gun. And what I'm saying is let's look into it!

This is also nothing against the majority of law enforcement officers. I don't want anyone using what I said here as a promotion to harass or assault any law enforcement officers who are out here. I'm referring to the scum bags who give our law enforcement a bad name.

I don't care what part of the political aisle you're on, in the United States of America we don't allow unmarked vans and plain clothed agents to abduct people in front of crowds in broad daylight without question! For the people who do not consider this concerning or at the very least worth a phone call to the police you need to get a grip on reality because even if it is an actual undercover operation, that shouldn't be your first assumption.

If you have such a firm attachment to your stance on immigration and border policies that you're letting this become normal, then you should consider the security risks involved in normalizing such a horrid enormity. This is literally going to encourage anyone to go out and abduct people.

If I have to explain why it would be a bad thing if society allows any random group without question to kidnap random people, then I'm not sure you understand the severity of that, or you believe that any group who would decide to do something like this is a group that wouldn't be doing anything to affect you negatively, or they would be doing something that affects you positively.

Either way, it's un-American and I'm not down with that.

To everyone who is exercising their first amendment right tomorrow. Be safe, be civil, be informed. If anything wrong happens to you, let it happen unless your life is literally in danger, then deal with it in court.

I'm not sure what's going on with Adriana Smith (The lady in Georgia that is on life support), however, I've said this numerous times. We live in a country where things like this happen. If she never wanted something like this to happen it should have been in a living will, which is an advance healthcare directive which is a legal document that allows you to specify your wishes regarding medical care if you become unable to make decisions for yourself. It can include instructions about treatments you want or don't want, and who you want to make decisions on your behalf.

For all we know she might have wanted something like this. I don't know the details. If there's a living will where she didn't want something like this to happen then that's messed up. But otherwise there's really nothing that can be done legally speaking to prevent them from doing this in the state of Georgia.

The state is ultimately going to pay for it when it comes to the financial aspect. Unless the family somehow gets stuck with the bill which all they have to do is just not pay it. It's really that simple. Just don't pay it. It's not their bill.

It's a very unfortunate situation but perhaps if they do somehow save the child maybe the mother would have wanted that and the family gets a new member. If the family can't take care of the child without the mother, why would she have a baby to begin with?

The way I see it is if she was planning on becoming a mother then maybe it's not so unethical to try to save her child.

Maybe I'm missing something here.

China aims to keep its currency undervalued to boost its export competitiveness. This is achieved by purchasing US Treasury bonds.
