"Raising this flag alone does not change the world, but ... for many people, this piece of fabric represents hope, belonging, and the freedom to live authentically." -Commissioner Jeff Chirico, Ward 3, at today's Pride Flag raising event at the Township Building.

Thank you to all who joined us, including Philly Pride 365 and CHS sophomore Tina Ramberg-Michael, the Montgomery County Youth Poet Laureate, who shared two outstanding poems.

A fabulous highlight by Kim Hudson with CBS Philadelphia!

Celebrate Camp William Penn Day with us September 19, but in the meantime, check out our whole lineup for America 250 on our website!

As Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, prepared to celebrate 250 years of America's freedom, a museum remembered Black Union soldiers' contributions to their emancipation from slavery.

Join us on the grounds of the estate from 6-9 PM June 13 for music, food and drinks, lawn games, and ending the night with a spectacular drone show over the Hall.

Despite the rain location change, today was a very meaningful memorial tribute to the members of our community who have the ultimate sacrifice for our country. In addition to these names, we remembered those memorialized in the Valley of Remembrance at Curtis (WWII Memorial) and those who trained at Camp William Penn and died in the Civil War.
If you missed today, there will be the annual ceremony beginning at 10:30 AM at the historic Methodist cemetery in Central Ave, traveling to the Veterans Memorial where you’ll see our Field of Flags.
Those who gave their lives in service, we can never repay, but we can remember and honor with our thanks.
