All Free Library locations will close at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, and will remain closed through Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Normal hours will resume at all locations on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

When do you feel free to say what you really think? How do you experience free expression in your own life? Knight Foundation and Cortico are convening 45+ small-group conversations across 10 cities--and Philadelphia is one of them. They want to hear from people who don't usually get asked. Your perspective helps shape a national record.

This isn't a debate or a survey. It's a relaxed, recorded conversation at Bustleton Library with a small group of 4–6 people from our community (you can use a pseudonym; you can pass on any question). We'll provide some snacks and drinks.
