Yesterday marked a significant milestone in Phenix City as we celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the extensive renovation of a 610,000 square foot textile facility, which will now serve as the new location for Sierra Pacific Windows. Sierra Pacific, a leading manufacturer of windows and doors based in California, is projected to create between 300 to 500 jobs over the coming years. This transformational project, representing a $60 million investment, has revitalized the former textile plant into an impressive facility. The President of Sierra Pacific has referred to this location as their flagship and most innovative plant. We extend our gratitude to all those who contributed to this achievement and eagerly anticipate the production of high-quality products in the near future. Also, special thank you to Governor Kay Ivey and the Alabama Department of Commerce for their assistance in making this project a reality.
