We are excited to introduce Coach Jones as the new head coach of the PCIS 7th Grade Football Team.

Coach Jones has been part of the Central Phenix City School System since 2018 and currently teaches Physical Education at PCIS. He holds a master’s degree in Physical Education and brings a lifelong passion for athletics to our program. Growing up, Coach Jones was involved in every sport, but his high school years were centered around football and baseball before continuing his athletic career by playing baseball in college.

Coach Jones is excited to lead our young men, build strong fundamentals, and help develop the discipline, toughness, and character it takes to be successful both on and off the field.

Outside of school and coaching, Coach Jones is a proud dad to two boys and has been with his lovely wife for 10 years. On the weekends, you can usually find him cheering on Auburn football.

We are excited for the future of PCIS 7th Grade Football under Coach Jones’ leadership!

The Village church along with Hope Convoy provided a generous donation of snacks and paper towels for our PCIS scholars. They stayed and made bags so that every summer school student is able to take food home over the weekend for the 4 weeks of summer school!

🎓Class of 1976 🎓

PCIS was honored by the class of ‘76 last week! PCIS was the location of the high school campus when this group of Phenix City graduates graduated. Because of this the class decided for their 50th reunion they would raise funds to donate to PCIS. Members of the class of ‘76 came and presented PCIS with a check to go towards efforts to better our campus for the students and community. We are so grateful for their generosity and commitment to their community!

Special note, Mrs. Elswick, one of our 7th grader teachers, mother was in the class of ‘79. Mrs. Elswick able to be present in honor of her mother when the group came to present their generous gift.
