The Phenix City Police Department serves approximately 38,000 persons in and around the City of Phenix City and covers an area of approximately 41 square miles. with a population of about 275,000. Currently The Police Department employs approximately 86 sworn officers and 23 civilian personn

Please join us in congratulating Off. M. Manan and Off. J. Doan on successfully completing the Chemical Weapons Instructor Course this week.

Through this training, they are now certified to recertify current Officers in the use of aerosol pepper spray and will also help train new Officers on the proper and safe use of this important tool.

We are proud of their continued commitment to training, professionalism, and helping ensure our Officers are prepared to safely serve our community. Great job, guys!
