If you are looking for someone who is always willing to jump in, lend a hand, and give her absolute best, look no further than Mrs. Rose! She can be found assisting in so many ways across our school and always with a heart for serving others.

As our Reading Coach, Mrs. Rose works tirelessly to support teachers with effective reading instruction, analyze student reading data and help identify areas of need, help teachers plan targeted reading instruction and interventions, model effective instructional strategies, coach and collaborate with teachers to strengthen classroom practice, provide resources, strategies, and professional learning, and advocate for what is best for our scholars.

Mrs. Rose's impact goes far beyond instruction. She is committed to building relationships with our partners in education and connecting LPS with resources and support that help our school, teachers, and scholars continue to grow.

She gives her absolute best in everything she does. Whether she is supporting a teacher, encouraging a scholar, collaborating with a partner, analyzing data, finding resources, or simply stepping in wherever she is needed, Mrs. Rose does it with purpose and a servant's heart.

Mrs. Rose is truly one of the ones at LPS who models what it means to EXPECT THE BEST.

Mrs. Williams' class transformed into the Kindergarten Counting Cafe! Students practiced sorting, counting, one-to-one correspondence, and writing numerals as they collected ingredients and served them to a partner, who counted them back in return. What an engaging and memorable way to practice foundational math skills!

Our Smarties are building their algorithmic thinking skills with Robot Mouse! 🧀➡️🐭 Students are learning to put steps in the correct order, program a path, test their ideas, and make changes when needed to reach their goal!

This week, our LPS Spotlight shines bright on Mrs. Williams!

Mrs. Williams is truly one of a kind! She goes above and beyond in everything she does for our scholars, families, and LPS. From making sure her lessons are planned down to the core, to keeping her parents informed and involved, she always finds a way to give her very best.

She even takes the extra step to create Screencastify videos to help parents understand how systems works. Now THAT is going the extra mile!

But what really makes Mrs. Williams special is the love, patience, and care she shows every single scholar. She believes in her students, supports them, and makes sure they know they are loved and capable of great things.

Mrs. Williams, thank you for bringing your heart to work every day and for always Expecting the Best! Your dedication does not go unnoticed. You are truly a GEM 💎 to LPS, and we are so blessed to have you on our team!

Our 2nd Grade Birdies had a special field trip to Central High School to experience Liberty Legacy! 🗽

It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn, experience history, and make special memories together. We are so thankful for experiences that bring learning to life beyond the classroom!
