NOTICE OF SPECIAL HEARING

Structure Unfit for Human Occupancy

The Town Board, Town of Phelps, New York has scheduled a special hearing for September 29, 2026. The special hearing will start at 4:00 PM and will take place at
The Phelps Town Hall, 79 Main Street, Phelps, New York.

Pursuant to Section 64 of the Code of the Town of Phelps regarding Unsafe Structures, a hearing is scheduled regarding 2073 Welch Road, Geneva, in the Town of Phelps, Countyof Ontario, State of New York, Tax Parcel ID # 63.00-3-64.100.

The Town Board of the Town of Phelps at the September 8, 2026 Regular Town Board meeting received a report from Code Enforcement Campbell outlining the existing deficiencies.

The purpose of the hearing is to allow the property owner and/or the tenant to present testimony, evidence, statements, or any information they wish the Board to consider before further action is taken in the case.

This special hearing is open to the public; however, the public will not be able to comment. This special hearing is between the Town and the Town’s representatives and the land
owner and the land owner’s legal representatives.

29, 2026 AT 12:00 PM, AT THE PHELPS TOWN HALL, 79 MAIN STREET, PHELPS, NY. THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR TOWN BOARD MEMBERS AND STAFF. MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND, BUT THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC PARTICIPATION.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town of Phelps will receive bids from qualified, licensed, and insured contractors for the complete demolition of the property located at 1878 Falkey Rd and the thorough removal and disposal of all resulting debris. Such bids must be filed with the Town of Phelps Town Clerk, 79 Main Street, Phelps, New York 14532, PRIOR TO 12:00 PM, October 9, 2026, with the opening of said bids to take place on October 13, 2026 at 6:00 PM.

Bid forms and specifications may be obtained at the office of the Phelps Town Hall at the abovementioned address.
Vendors requesting arrangements other than U.S. Mail shall be responsible for making such arrangements and all associated costs.
