We have 275 partner agencies across Cameron, Hidalgo, and Willacy counties. Our partner agencies receive support and resources from the Food Bank RGV and are prepared to provide assistance to anyone in need. If you are in need of EMERGENCY assistance, you have the opti

on to visit us at 724 N. in Pharr during our Drive-Thru Emergency Pantry (DTEP). The Food Bank RGV has shifted our 'Emergency Pantry' to a Drive Thru Emergency Pantry to safely distribute food to our community during the pandemic. To receive assistance, you will need to bring your ID and a proof of address such as a utility bill. You will also need to wear a face covering and have an empty car trunk so that food can be placed inside with little or no contact. ✏️🎒 Here’s a look at one of our recent School Tools Teacher Distributions!

We were proud to support local teachers with essential classroom supplies like crayons, backpacks, Lysol wipes, paper, and even extra goodies such as soaps, plushies, and other special items for their students.

School Tools is a Food Bank RGV program that supports teachers at schools with a high number of low-income students by giving them access to the supplies they need. Throughout the school year, teachers can stop by and grab what they’re missing so they can spend less time worrying about supplies and more time focusing on their students.

🌟We are deeply grateful to Spectrum for visiting our warehouse to volunteer and for presenting the Food Bank RGV with an Employee Community Grant that will help provide 32,500 meals to neighbors across our community!

Spectrum’s Employee Community Grants empower team members to support the causes they believe in—and this year, we are honored to have been nominated by David Hardin, a dedicated Spectrum employee and longtime Food Bank RGV volunteer.

Seeing how difficult it has become for families from all walks of life to afford groceries is what moved David to nominate the Food Bank RGV. We are incredibly grateful for his support and for Spectrum’s commitment to uplifting the communities they serve. Support like this strengthens our mission and helps ensure that no one in our community has to face hunger alone.

In addition to this generous grant, local Spectrum employees came together to celebrate by volunteering in our warehouse! Through their hands-on service, they helped provide an additional 8,820 meals for our community. We are thankful for their time, energy, and support, proof that when our community shows up, the impact goes even further. 🧡✨

We work closely with community partner agencies to provide food, resources, and support daily to neighbors in need across Cameron, Hidalgo, and Willacy county.

🌟 We’re proud to share that in January 2026, we distributed 286,358 pounds of food through our Mobile Produce Distributions!

Our team kicked off the year in full gear, starting with distributions in Brownsville and Donna, and wrapping up the month in Raymondville to help nourish our Willacy County neighbors.

Throughout the month, with the help of some incredible volunteer crews, our Mobile Produce team made sure neighbors in need went home with trunkfuls of nutritious produce and food.

Thank you to our team and everyone who lent us a helping hand, your efforts provide relief, dignity, and hope to families who rely on these distributions to put healthy food on their tables. Here's to nourishing more families together in 2026! 🧡💪
