🎉 What an awesome first assembly at Mott Elementary as we officially kicked off our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration! ⭐ We had so much fun celebrating our superstar students who have already hit their AR goals, as well as the classrooms showing off strong start routines and top-notch behavior. Highlighting 10 years of Owl Pride, we are so excited to set big goals, work hard, and grow brighter together all year long! 💙🦉✨

🦉 Learning is taking flight in the library! 📚✨

Our incredible librarian, Mrs. Pam Shellenberger, has been bringing so much energy and joy as she introduces our students to the library routine. This week, she had everyone hooked with a super fun OWL Read-Aloud—complete with cozy storytime vibes, big imaginations, and plenty of "Hoots!"

We love seeing our readers build great habits, explore new books, and discover just how magical the library can be. Thank you, Mrs. Shellenberger, for making learning so feather-tastic! 💙📖

Ms. Chiamara was recently the Librarian of the Day!

She checked in library books, read a story using Novel Effect to Ms. Grey's class, added some titles to a book list for me to purchase, interviewed Ms. Portillo and got me a great quote for an article about No Place For Hate. She also worked on shelving in the everybody section.

In addition to winning this opportunity at the Owl Pfest Silent Auction, she is also highly qualified as she made it to the Million Word Club this year as a second grader!
