The Village of Lisbon will now be contracting fire and EMS services moving forward. The men and women of the Lisbon Fire Department past and present have been proudly serving members of the Village of Lisbon and surrounding areas for over 41 years. The Lisbon Fire Department will be remembered for their progressive and innovative services benefitting their citizens as well as Waukesha County. We would like to thank all members for their courage, professionalism, empathy, and dedication to the residents of the Lisbon community in their time of need. Thank you for a job well done.

Today is national first responder day! We would like to take a moment to specially recognize all of our amazing responders at LFD. Sadly, we will be closing our doors for good on October 31st, as the village proceeds with a contract with the City of Pewaukee. Our amazing people have served their community without hesitation night and day for over 40 years, and we are forever thankful for that. To every one of the members that has put in the work and contributed to making a difference in our community, THANK YOU!

Just now (10/11) the Richfield Volunteer Fire Company requested MABAS BOX 19-1-2 first to the FIRST ALARM level and then upgraded to the SECOND ALARM level for a structure fire at 5861 Monches Road in the Village of Richfield.

Canadian National Railway Company (CN) advised today the rail crossing at Plainview Road will remain closed to all cross traffic until 7AM on Tuesday, October 1st. Motorists are requested to use posted detour routes. For further inquiries, please contact CN at #1-888-888-5909.

This incident was a large scale, team effort. We are very grateful to our mutual aid partners for assisting us in monitoring an incident a couple blocks long. We would also like to thank the local media who was able to assist us in spreading the word of the leak and keep our citizens informed while we were operating.
