๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿš“ PEVELY โ€” LETโ€™S LINE THE STREETS AND CHEER THEM ON! ๐Ÿš“๐Ÿ”ฅ

On Tuesday, May 26, the Pevely Police Department will proudly carry the Special Olympics Flame of Hope through our community as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Missouri! ๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ

This isnโ€™t just a run โ€” itโ€™s a powerful show of support, determination, and heart for the incredible Special Olympics athletes across Missouri.

The Torch Run begins in Festus at 8:00 AM and will travel north on Highway 61/67 toward Arnold, with law enforcement agencies along the entire route carrying the Flame of Hope from community to community.

Officers and runners are expected to arrive in Pevely between approximately 8:30 and 8:45 AM, depending on pace and allowing time for all runners to stay together.

๐Ÿ“ The Pevely route will travel from the Grace Center at Commercial & Main north toward Hillside Estates.

๐Ÿ‘ Weโ€™re asking the community to come out, wave your flags, bring the kids, make some noise, and cheer on the runners and officers carrying the Flame of Hope through town!

Letโ€™s give them a BIG Pevely welcome and show these athletes and officers what community pride looks like! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿš“

โš ๏ธ Drivers are reminded to use extra caution along northbound Highway 61/67, as runners will be traveling on the shoulder and traffic may be briefly impacted.

Together, we run for inclusion.
Together, we run for courage.
Together, we carry the Flame of Hope. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Rockport Elementary held their annual fishing trip at Oak Valley today! ๐ŸŽฃ

It was a special day for our department as our new Cadet Officer Stacyโ€”who will be graduating from the academy this Tuesdayโ€”and Corporal Archibald both once walked the halls of Rockport as students. Now, they were able to come back and be part of this great tradition with the next generation.

Moments like this show how strong our community ties truly are. ๐Ÿ’™
