Who has more fun than us?

We may be biased, but summer is even better when we get to spend it with our friends at the Friendship Center!

A big thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the start of summer with our first picnic of the season. We had delicious food, great music, lots of laughs, and of course, ice cream from the Big Tasty Treats ice cream truck.

Thank you to everyone who attended, helped, and made the day so much fun. We are already looking forward to the next one!

Don't miss out on the summer fun. Join us on July 10th for our next summer picnic.

๐Ÿงฉ Puzzle Lovers, We Need Your Help! ๐Ÿงฉ

We're looking for donations of puzzles with 300 pieces or fewer that our seniors can enjoy together at the Friendship Center.

If you have puzzles collecting dust on a shelf, we'd be grateful to give them a new home where they'll bring hours of fun, conversation, and connection.

Puzzle donations can be dropped off at the Friendship Center during regular business hours.

Thank you for helping keep our puzzle tables full and our seniors engaged! โค๏ธ

Congratulations to Christy Blackall on her promotion to Community Engagement Director!

"What drew me to this position is the opportunity to lead in a broader way by supporting programs, mentoring staff, strengthening partnerships, and helping shape how we engage with our community moving forward. I am excited about the opportunity to be a visible ambassador for Friendship Centers and to continue building meaningful relationships that expand our impact." - Christy Blackall

Christy's passion for service, dedication to building relationships, and commitment to helping others find purpose beyond retirement have been invaluable to our organization. For our RSVP members, fear not! RSVP remains an important part of the Community Engagement Department, and Christy will continue to have her finger on the pulse of our incredible senior volunteer program.
