Town Park Update

The new playground is officially open for play!

The groundwork was finished this afternoon, and we had a few volunteers to check it out!
Thanks to Tim Giumarra Excavation for the groundwork and mulching, as well as the installation of steps to the concrete picnic area. The steps are repurposed from the cap stones removed from the Route 2 overpass during the bridge replacement.

The area around the mulch has been seeded and covered with straw, we ask that you try to stay off this area to allow the grass to establish.

Reminder that the Town Park remains CLOSED until the groundwork and mulch have been completed. The installation of the new playground structure has been finished.

Berlin School District Budget Tuesday tomorrow at the Stephentown Library.

Reminder: BCSD's 3rd 'Budget Tuesday' is April 28, 2026 - Stephentown Library, 6:00 pm.

In an effort to maintain transparency and keep our school community informed, the district is introducing 'Budget Tuesdays' in each of our municipalities, beginning April 14, 2026, and concluding May 5, 2026, in addition to our regular budget presentations.
These information sessions, hosted by Berlin CSD Superintendent Mr. Ken Rizzo and Business Official Ms. Colleen Mills, aim to provide the community with comprehensive information and address any questions, so community members can make the most informed decision possible on school budget voting day, May 19, 2026.

April 21, 2026 - BMHS Auditorium, 6:30 pm - Q&A session before BOE Presentation
