Recently several residents have received phone calls stating they owe fines etc. from individuals claiming to be with various agencies. Always be suspect of phone calls or texts stating you owe fines etc.

We had a great time today freezing for a reason! 🥶We invited all of our jail staff and all of the deputies to attend this event and these eight soles were the brave one’s willing to take the plunge! Give them a big round of applause for taking the plunge and raising money for a good cause! Thank you to all who donated and shared the post, we hope to raise even more next year! Some of the staff did get to use work as an excuse from getting in the cold water! 😉

The Pike County Sheriffs Office is entering its first team into the Special Olympics Polar Plunge being held at Prides Creek February 28th.

We have 8 signed up to take the plunge with a goal of raising $1000.00.

We’ve had some really strong training opportunities lately, and there’s even more scheduled throughout this year.

A special thank you to the Jefferson Township Fire Department for hosting Ice Rescue training. We also appreciate the Department of Child Services and the Pike County Prosecutor’s Office for assisting with interrogation techniques, investigations, and providing a valuable prosecutor update.

Continued training ensures we are better prepared to serve and protect our community at the highest level.

Chief Deputy Dallas Killian sitting down with WFPC podcasting for a quick update on road conditions! We would also like to thank all of the Pike County Highway Department led by superintendent Josh Byrd they did an outstanding job working tirelessly on the county roads! Our county roads are in very good shape considering the amount of snow we received! We ask that everyone still use caution reduce speeds and give your self plenty of room to come to a stop if needed!

Please stay off of the roads! We have multiple deputies out working and road conditions are very poor with low visibility on the roadways!
