For those that were wanting to attend the Firefighter I class being held in Dinwiddie at Namozine Volunteer Fire & EMS station we have some great news!

Even though Dinwiddie County schools are closed tomorrow we will start the Firefighter I class tomorrow night at Namozine beginning at 6:30 pm. Please pass this message along for those that wish to attend tomorrow evening that might not be on this email.

If you have not registered but wish to attend, please attend tomorrow night's session. We will assist you getting registered for the class through VDFP.

Part 1
Santa came today to Namozine Volunteer Fire & EMS to visit the members and their families. The children were all very excited to see Santa. Lunch, pictures and gifts with Santa.

Hope to see everyone there this Saturday. We will have our fire apparatus there and our tent with kids fire prevention handouts, volunteer information, and our t-shirts etc. for sale. So come out and say hi.

The community really came out in force at Rohoic Woods Apartment Complex for National Night Out, making it a truly special evening. Our teams, including Truck 4, Engine 4, Medic 42, and Car 4, were proud to be a part of it.

Introducing the Dinwiddie Fire & EMS Youth Academy 2025! From June 9th - 13th 2025, we are offering students an exciting chance to learn what it takes to be a first responder!

If you or someone you know is;
- a 9th-12th grader of Dinwiddie County schools,
- a 9th-12th grader currently residing in Dinwiddie County, or a child of Dinwiddie County employee, and
- interested in a hands-on opportunity in career development in pursuing a future in the fire and/or EMS field.
This would be a great opportunity!

We had a great turnout this afternoon for our Members' Children Easter party. We are beginning early with their volunteer career awareness. 🐣 🐰

We have received some questions about the Ambulance Aid form that many of you have received in the mail. The Ambulance Aid subscription program is a way to protect you and your loved ones from the unexpected cost of emergency ambulance transport. The subscription will cover emergency medical transport to the nearest, appropriate medical facility.
