Petaluma, help us name the east side multi-use pathway! [Español abajo]⁠

Petaluma’s longest multi-use pathway needs a name. This east side pathway largely follows the City’s eastern urban separator boundary from Kenilworth Junior High School to Casa Grande Road. It stretches 3.5 miles and connects neighborhoods, schools, and parks while offering a safe, car-free alternative to busy roads like Sonoma Mountain Parkway and Ely Boulevard South.

Let’s give this pathway the recognition it deserves! Submit your nomination by July 5, 2026.

Join us tonight, Monday, June 15, for the Petaluma City Council meeting beginning at 6:00 PM. [Español abajo]⁠

The Council meeting will include a proclamation recognizing Juneteenth, a budget appropriation adjustment ordinance, and a workshop on the City's 2026-27 Economic Development Workplan.

Consent calendar items include actions related to fare-free transit funding, homelessness grant opportunities, wastewater operations, living wage adjustments, and labor agreements.

Free Summer Lunch At The Library Has Begun! ☀️ [Español abajo]⁠

📢 Calling all kids! The Petaluma Regional Library is providing free lunch to all children between the ages of 0-18 years from June 8 through August 7.

Stop by for lunch and stay for the fun! The library calendar is filled with events including chess club, storytimes, arts and crafts, magic shows and more! Plus, this year's summer reading challenge lets kids, teens, and adults earn prizes while discovering new books.
