NEW DEER PROCESSING FACILITY NOW AVAILABLE FOR TRIBAL MEMBERS

The new Deer Processing Facility is ready for use by Grand Traverse Band Tribal Members! The facility is now available for deer processing. Regulations and a sign-in sheet are located at the Deer Cooler and must be reviewed prior to use.

Waawaakesh (Deer) Processing Workshop Today!

October 14, 2025 • 5:00pm to 8:00pm
We are seeking ONE freshly harvested deer donation to make this year's workshop possible (The donated deer can only be accepted between October 13th 8:00AM - 5:00PM & October 14th 8:00AM - 3:00PM.)

Join our hands-on workshop where we'll start with a field-dressed deer and show you how to skin, quarter, break down cuts of meat, and vaccum-packing meat. Plus, we'll have a smoker running with delicious venison jerky to sample.

Date Change: Tribal Council Community Meeting at Antrim Date Changed to October 30th

This fall, Tribal Council will also be visiting our communities for a series of Community Meetings. These meetings are an opportunity to connect directly with Council, ask questions, share concerns and discuss matters important to you and your community.

Please join us for conversation, a light snack, and fellowship. Meetings will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. on the following dates:

Antrim – October 30 at Kewadin Indian Mission Hall (248 Cairn Hwy, Kewadin) DATE CHANGED
