🌟🐴 **CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR PES STUDENT COUNCIL!** 🐴🌟

We are so proud of this outstanding group of students who have been chosen to serve on the **Perryville Elementary Student Council** for the 2026–2027 school year! ❤️🤍

Our **Kindergarten–3rd grade representatives** were selected by their teachers based on their **behavior, work ethic, leadership qualities, and overall character**.

Our **4th–6th grade representatives** took part in the election process by **campaigning, giving speeches, and earning the votes of their peers!** 🗳️🎤 What a great opportunity for our students to experience leadership and the democratic process firsthand!

Serving on Student Council is both an **honor and a responsibility**, and we know these students will do an incredible job representing their classmates and helping make PES an even better place.

We look forward to seeing the **ideas, service, school spirit, and leadership** this group brings to our school throughout the year!

Twas the night before Mustang Merch, and all through the school,
The Mustangs were counting their money and feeling quite cool!
Their Moolah was earned by being their best,
Showing Mustang Pride and passing each test.

The snacks had been waiting, the toys were in sight,
And special rewards were ready—what a delight!
There were treasures and prizes and choices galore,
All waiting tomorrow inside the MUSTANG MERCH STORE!

Some may choose snacks, fidgets, or squishy they adore,
While others may dream of something much more…
Like PRINCIPAL FOR THE DAY—now THAT'S quite a score!

Second graders are diving into learning with an exciting mix of hands-on science experiments, independent reading time, and a fun “book tasting” to launch the new Wit & Wisdom module. During the “book tasting” they sampled various texts, explored covers, and previewed the stories and topics they will be learning about.
