The Ochiltree County Sheriff's office conducted a search of a residence located South of Perryton on May 29th , 2026. During the search, 136g of Methamphetamines, 8 fi****ms, proceeds from 2 storage unit burglaries and narcotics paraphernalia were seized. Criminal charges are currently pending against the owner of the property searched. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Officers of the Ochiltree County Constable’s Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Hemphill County Sheriff’s Office and Booker Police Department.

A text message is being circulated regarding a civil process service from someone representing the Ochiltree County Processor’s office. (We don’t have a Processor Office). Do not respond to this. It is a SCAM. Look for spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes and spacing mistakes. They are a dead giveaways for scammers. Never call a phone number or respond to a webpage sent to you in a link.
