Last week, Sergeant Dotson visited Imagine School of Arts on Madison Avenue in Toledo to talk to the kindergarten kids about stranger danger! Once Sergeant Dotson walked in the door, the kids were so excited to see him and talk to a police officer. He also helped them practice writing their names. We love going out into the community and visiting different schools and teaching all the kids about safety. Great job, Sergeant Dotson! 💙🖤👮🏾‍♂️

Another great commencement in the books! The officers always love this day; lots of laughs, pictures and familiar faces throughout the day. We always make the day enjoyable even in the cold weather!

Happy Veterans Day to all of the men and women who served or are serving for this country and to the ones who never made it home. We have quite a few people in our department who have served in some sort of military branch. We are grateful for them all and thank them for their service 💙🖤

Today we had a beautiful memorial remembrance for Sergeant Luis Munguia, who passed away a year ago today. Colleagues, friends and family all came together to remember Luis, tell stories about him, and talk about his phenomenal legacy. Sergeant Munguia is missed by so many. He will never be forgotten. We would like to thank everyone who helped put this event together. We couldn’t have done it with every single one of you. You are greatly appreciated!

What a great night at the Wood County Trunk or Treat event! This is one of our favorite events to be apart of every year! The turn out is always better than the year before. We had an all female crew this year; the Hocus Pocus theme was a HUGE hit as we also played loud music and danced with the kiddos as they came to our cruiser. What a great time! We went through a HUGE box of candy which was impressive! It was a beautiful night.

The Owens Police Department sends its deepest condolences to the Lorain Police Department, the family and friends of Officer Phillip Wagner, and the entire police community after this devastating senseless attack on him and the other Lorain Police Officers involved. Please pray for their families during this difficult, unimaginable time. RIP Officer Wagner. 💙🖤
