We are incredibly grateful to Mahlon Conaway, class of 1943, for donating his personal memoir World War II story.

This special book created by Mahlon, is filled with his stories, experiences and memories from his time during War. His stories give us a firsthand glimpse into history and help preserve the experiences of those who served our country.

Mrs. Meyers will be joining us at the High School, transferred from the Elementary school, teaching 2nd grade special education! Here’s a little bit about her:

Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Perry, but graduated from South Tama County HS and moved back to Perry when my son was born.

What college did you attend? My undergraduate degree is from Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin. I got my masters in education from Grand Canyon University.

Favorite snack? Favorite snack is trail mix.

What are you most excited about this year??
I am excited to start this position at the high school. I am excited to meet my new students and to be doing something totally different, while still working in the district I love.
