Taylor County United has been serving our community for the past 5 years. The year the school system changed the bus routes and anyone in a two mile radius of the school would not have bus pickup. So we gave out bikes and helmets to @ 30 children to help with transportation to school. Taylor County United has also helped to provide funding and school supplies for the public libraries summer readin

g program as well as serving food and drinks at some of the programs special events. We serve a local veteran or family in need with a food basket monthly. And for the past 4 years we have served many children at Christmas with clothing, food and wish toys at our annual Christmas party. If you are interested in knowing more about the organization or becoming a member or just want to volunteer for projects or fund raising events, please message us.

This year Taylor County United sponsored Mrs. Mays' (Saunders) class at Perry Primary. The first day of school each child received a gift bag with a back to school prayer, a story book of 3 Pete the Cat stories and a stuffed Pete the Cat toy. We will be praying for these children throughout the school year as well as for all our children in our community. May you have a safe and productive school year.
