Hello Perry Village Residents…

On Tuesday, September 8th at 6:30 PM, you’re invited to come to Village Hall, enjoy some provided snacks and refreshments, and talk with me about our Village, here in Perry.

This is NOT a council meeting. This is an hour of time, in which the community can connect with me directly, to discuss your concerns, ideas and the strengths, areas of opportunities, needs, etc. regarding our village.

What I ask of you:

✅ Be engaged
✅ Build a room/meeting that encourages open discussions and dialogue
✅ Understand that I won’t have all the answers and solutions, but that I will work towards obtaining them
✅ Understand that I may not, legally, be able respond to some topics
✅ This meeting will be 1 hour in length, and will end at 7:30 PM EST.

There is no need to RSVP, just show up, grab some snacks, that I will personally provide, and a seat, and be ready to be a part of a group working towards the future of Perry Village.

Our room only holds 60 people, so be sure to come 5-10 mins early to snag your spot.

I look forward to listening and talking with all of you.

Elias

Thank you Officer Malcolm Spark for stepping in and helping de-escalate a difficult situation.

Sometimes, being in the right place at the right time can make all the difference.

As law enforcement officers, we are often called upon to respond when situations are difficult or uncertain. But sometimes, the most meaningful moments happen during the routine parts of our day.

Officer Malcolm Battiato recently found himself in one of those moments while going about his daily routine. His presence and willingness to step in and assist a student helped de-escalate the situation and, most importantly, contributed to a positive outcome.

As Chief, I am proud of Officer Battiato and the way he represented our department. It is a reminder that policing is about much more than responding to calls. It is about building relationships, recognizing when someone needs help, and making a difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Thank you, Officer Battiato, for demonstrating the compassion, patience, and professionalism that we strive for every day.

Proud to have you representing our department and our community.
